My 5th Post : I Got Freaked Out That I Am A Noob

I Am A Noob

Yes, call me a noob if you want. Blame it on those who invented the mouse! Well, I use my desktop computer at least five hours a day. I never receive any proper education about computer. I nearly fail all my programming subjects in my university courses. I got cheated when I first time bought a computer (I was sixteen!).

But hey! Look at me, I am still survived. I am managed to log on to the net and surf. I am still able to do all my course projects using Microsoft Office. I am actually taking a good care of my own computer of two years. I installed some new softwares and managed to learn how to use it. I know how to play games with computer. And now I am blogging to boost myself to you!

Yes, again. Blame it on those who invented the mouse. When I first using the computer, the only function of the keyboard I knew is to type. When I want to change the properties of my Windows, I just right click using my mouse. When I want to open any file or application, I just need to double click on the files using my mouse. When I need to scroll down the page, I just need to roll the roller on my mouse. Well, my mouse seems to do all the jobs for my keyboard.

When I started using computer when I was sixteen, my house didn’t own an internet connection yet. So, I got to go to the nearby cybercafé to surf the net. By then, I got to know that, when my computer hanged, I can use these few keys on my keyboard to close the page. Ctrl + Alt + Del. By pressing them all together, I can settle it.

Since then, every time I got the same problem, I will just happily use these three magic keys.

Until last night, when I was surfing on some websites and blogs, my computer got hanged! Without looking at the keyboard, I was trying to type out the magic keys. But…

It got blackout for a while and I got freaked out!

Oh, no! It’s not a blackout. My screen view reappeared but…it looked like this!!!

I wondered what was happening. I got freaked out for the second time…

How am I supposed to use my computer with the view like this? I need to turn my head down 90 degrees to my right so that I can read and move my mouse properly. Yes, totally freaked out!

What am I so freaked out about? Hey, hey, I think I am normal. I need to use my computer daily, and how am I going to do my homeworks like this?(Yeah right, I don't have homework :P)

Then, I tried to restart my computer to see if it will get back to its original view. To my disappointment, it didn’t work!

Then I right click using my mouse to open the properties. But where???

Sigh...

I tried my best. So, finally came to a decision. I need a help. So, I started to MSN my friends, and I felt that my neck starting to ache. Oh, no! I just can’t continue to turn my head like this. I felt so stupid and yet so helpless.

Out of few MSNs that I've sent out, finally someone responded. Luckily, the one that responded is a computer technician, which can finally calmed me down a little bit. It was really hard to explain it to him. As I can’t read him properly and I just feel that I was going to break my neck very soon.

So good of him, that he called me just to ask me what I had pressed and done.

And, yes!

Finally, my view get back to normal!

Then, I realized that I actually pressed the wrong key. Instead of pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del, I pressed Ctrl + Alt + right arrow.

Yes, you can try it, if you don’t know about this yet. And if you knew, please forgive me for making you reading all these nonsense and you can call me noob and also please laugh. :P

My 4th Post : Our World Rocks Too!

Our Blogosphere

Well, saying that the internet, online chattings and blogs are for those who are bored, nerds and ugly is no more acceptable. Nowadays, our cyber world is much more entertaining and happening than it does in the last millennium. Sometimes we are more well-informed of the latest news around the world when we are clicked to the net compared to running around outside the house. Our world is no more can be categorized in ‘virtual’ category anymore.

*Thumbs up* to the development of the technologies and internet itself.

Believe it or not, our cyber world developed even faster than the real world, people from all around the world would be able to gather virtually and talk and have fun. We could even see each other through cams and knowing much more friends through this.

The Girl Who Get Me Annoyed!

About few months ago, when I was accidentally browsed into a very special girl’s YouTube video. I told myself ‘Ewww!!!!!!! How come we have this kind of a wannabe girl here?’

For me, that was a very attention-seeking attitude. She took few videos of herself talking about nonsense every night and calling that Pillow Talk – from Nicolekiss. She has a few episodes of it (and now only left the final episode of it due to the unwelcome comments made by other users), and I found them so annoying and sick, but I am starting to wonder why was I kept clicking on the next episode to find out how annoying is she?

The answer was very simple.

The annoyance is interesting.

I want to know more about her and what she’s going to tell next. The next thing I know, which actually surprised me, was, she know my favourite blogger, Kennysia!

Personally!

Kenny wrote about her sometimes, her pictures appeared in his blog occasionally, from Kenny, I got to know about this girl, that she actually has a blog called Nicolekiss, that she is from the state I studying in currently, and that she made it to 2007 Miss Malaysia Universe Pageant as the contestant number 7.

Well, now, I don’t really annoyed by her, and that I find myself visit her blog occasionally. She actually is not that annoying. Maybe I am just jealous of her confidence!

Anonymous Online Flamer Harrassed Blogger, Got Arrested

Another incident which was recently, when my favourite blogger, Kenny(again!) went to Penang, the most happening island situated in northern Malaysia. The main purposes of his visit to Penang, were to attend the hottest Malaysian bloggers gathering, Nuffnang and to complete the second marathon of his life.

Somehow, Kenny got lucky when a female blogger from Kuala Lumpur(KL), IcyQueenGoddess contacted him to share the journey cost and the hotel room with him. On the other word, she wanted Kenny to be her bodyguard in Nuffnang gathering.

But things did not turned out well for the girl, which she called it ‘The Kenny Sia Effect’.

Once Kenny blogged about the journey, she started to get nasty emails from a very sick guy, accusing her for fucking sleeping with Kenny. The sender even threatened to gangbang her when she is coming back from her workplace.

Poor girl, she was totally freaked out and actually reported the case to the police. When police contacted her, telling her that, they managed to check the location of the sick guy and will arrest him.

To her surprise, the sick guy turned out to be just a naughty teenager from Penang that was only trying to being funny.

And more surprises, when the father of the guy actually begged her to forgive his son and don’t ruin his son’s future by sending him to jail and he even paid IcyQueenGoddess RM100 cheque!

Top Seven Most Disgusting Bloggers (In the Singapore blogosphere)

From Kenny’s blog(call me a fan of him? Nevermind ‘cause I just really love his blog so much), I also get to know the most popular blogger in Singapore, XiaXue. If you are in Asia, I won’t be surprise if you say you know her.

By logging to her blog you will know just how much money that she can make through those advertisements. Well, she is popular, she is beautiful, and the newspaper writes a nice piece about XiaXue and her being one of the first Bloggers to get a commercial endorsement deal in Asia. She can be entitled for the most successful online celebrity in Asia!

Well, that’s not the most happening yet in our blogosphere. To be honest, XiaXue is known for her loud bitchy writing. She will write everything that came through her mind. You can name her as honest or b****. She doesn’t really will mind.(4 yours as a Queen Blogger! She doesn't even know if you are exist)

Recently, when she posted an entry on her blog, Top Seven Most Disgusting Bloggers (In the Singapore blogosphere), really ‘caused a lot of controversies. Yes, she really said a lot of ugly things about the bloggers in the list.

She complained how ugly those people look like. She laughed at how silly they acted online. Well, I am agreed that it is not a nice attitude and if she was writing that for the press, she might even get a sued(at least 1) from it.

On the other hand, the entry was not totally bad at all. While she posted it on her blog, at least half of her 30,000 blog readers will click on those ‘disgusting’ bloggers’ blog. Hey, that’s a free advertisement!

As the top-listed in XiaXue disgusting bloggers’ list, Steven doesn’t keep quiet too. As a respond he even posted a reply on his blog too!

And for additional, in case XiaXue doesn’t has the time for his annoying blog (It is! Once you get to his site, some annoying videos will play by themselves. To safe the world and the atmosphere, please turn off your speaker before you click on his site.), he even posted a video on YouTube for her convenience. Funny, I don’t even understand what is he talking about. Was that in English? LOL. Click here for the video.

Beside Steven, I can see some of the listed disgusting bloggers did replied XiaXue’s controversy post too. Well, just one advise, WE as blogs’ readers ARE NOT STUPID! Yes, she said you are disgusting to her. But we have brains! We can judge ourselves when we drop by your sites! No worries, be happy. You can’t really make everyone happy with you right? Just be yourself.

According to Wikipedia, Psychic is a term relating to or denoting mental abilities or phenomena that are apparently inexplicable by known natural laws, since they seem to transcend the confines of the brain. People who are thought to have these abilities or to be able to produce these phenomena are often called ‘psychics’.

Apparently, psychics and psycho is just two letters away. When you are walking down the street, where this one old lady come to you and starts to tell you that you are going to be a successful celebrity one day. If you believe in her, you will call her psychic, if you don’t, you’ll call her psycho! LOL

Whatever side you are standing for, I clearly stating it out, that I do believe in psychic. Have you ever heard of the term ‘mental power’? Yes, it is the power that I am believed in.

Back to the situation, physics that who can see the future are divided into two types, voluntary and involuntary. Voluntary are those who helped the police team in some special cases professionally. While involuntary, are those who can see visions during medication or sleep but not in conscious. This ability is inherent to us all, but few develop it beyond that. Naturally sensitive people do exist and even ones that are not gifted, can develop this ability.

Does believing in psychics mean they can actually predict your future? No. Future is probable. It is changeable. We are the one who can mould our future. Any psychics can tell you what are you going to face tomorrow, but it is you who are going to make it happens or not. Our future is determined by our own attitudes, choices, beliefs and our own plans of future.

For telling the truth, I am a psychic myself. I can see my own future! I can see myself continue being lazy, and I am going to fail all the subjects! So I am going to start working my ass out! LOL

A Grandfather's Passing

I had a psychic experience that was quite amazing. I was married at the time and both my husband and I were sleeping. Out of nothingness came this indescribable white light. It was all encompassing. Nothing existed outside of it. I was part of it and it was as if it were the Universal state of knowingness. In this light I heard and saw nothing for it was everything. But I "KNEW" in that very instant that my grandfather had died. I didn't guess it, question it, or doubt it! It was the highest sense of knowing I think a human can perceive. I awoke in that instant and jostled my husband to tell him that my grandfather had died in that moment. An hour later the phone rang with the sad news from my relatives that my grandfather John had passed away that very night.

It was just before one of my best friend Paula's birthdays around the 4th of June last year. We were all going to see The Omen, since it came out the same day as Paula's birthday. I was sitting in algebra one day and my friend Christina was poking me in the back. It was at that moment that a random scene popped into my head. Paula was sitting in the passenger's seat of her car with her mother driving. Christina, who was wearing a pink fuzzy hat, was sitting in back. They were at an intersection and were going forward on the green light when a black car came barreling through and hit them. Their car flipped over and everyone survived but Christina. I thought that was weird, but didn't really think it was a big deal, just a random scene in my head. Besides, Christina never rode with Paula anywhere.

A couple days later I had forgotten what I'd seen until Christina in her pink hat walk into homeroom and I suddenly thought of it. Just to reassure myself, I approached her and asked her who she was riding with to the movies. When she said Paula, I freaked out and told her not to ride with Paula, but she said that there's no way it would become real.

It was later that day, when I arrived at the movie theater, to see a bunch of people standing outside the door. I got out of the car and was relieved to see Christina among them. But it wasn't quite like that. Christina had ridden with Paula, but at the last minute, Paula's sister had to come along for the ride. They figured that screwed things up because just after they had crossed an intersection, a black car cut in front of them, it's license plate reading "BYE BYE". They didn't know if the car had, in fact, went through the intersection or not, but they were pretty freaked and glad that Paula's sister delayed their departure just long enough.

Dreams About Death and Life

As I was sleeping, one night, I had a nightmare that my friend's mom was going to die, she was in a bed and my friend was crying and I was there to comfort her. I woke up, called my friend and asked her if her mom was ok, she said yes and asked me why. I told her about my nightmare, she thought it was a weird dream that would never come true.

A week later, her mom died and everything I saw in my dream had came true. We were at the exact spot I had seen us and she was crying and I was there, just staring at my friend's mom, who I was very close to. She looked just as she did in my dream, they dressed her in a purple dress and that is how I saw it.

A couple of days later, I dreamed that my friend's mother was telling me that her oldest daughter was pregnant, then I saw her screaming that it was positive and crying from joy. The next day, I told my friend and about two days later, she calls for me to go over. This was not out of the ordinary, but what is, is while I was there, her sister started to scream that she was pregnant.

When I was 6 years old, my friend Ashley drowned in her apartment building's swimming pool. I was in my room playing with some toys and my mom was getting ready to take me to get my photograph taken for my kindergarten graduation. When she stepped into my room, as she tells me, she asked me who I was talking to. I said, "Ashley mommy. She is all wet and is getting the floor wet." She was coming to tell me that she had drowned. Freaked out by seeing a wet spot on the floor where I pointed her out, she picked me up and ran outside. Then turning and seeing wet footprints and a puddle behind her on the driveway. That was my first experience.

My 2nd Post : Will You Fall For These?

1^st of all, I want to wish everyone in the world, Happy 2007 2007!!!

Yes, no doubt, it’s about the date 20^th July 2007 or in numbering system is 20/07/2007.

Well, nothing special about the date, just that it will happen only once in our lifetime (Is that a good for us to celebrate it? It depends on you. As for mine, I celebrate the every day of my life). My 20072007 just ended well! That was a nice hang out with my close friends. We went to Jonker Street (A very popular street in Malacca which is full of stalls and restaurant, situated in the middle of the historical town), then had a nice games session at the Mahkota Parade (shopping complex) arcade, then we went to play pools for two hours (my first visit to pool center, and had a great time there), lastly we went to eat and a nice movie session. So I reached home about 3 a.m.

The next day, which is today, I woke up at 1.30 p.m. Yes, I know I am a pig. :D We went to watch Harry Porter. When I reached home, my housemate wanted to eat sushi. So again, we went to a Japanese restaurant in a mall called Sushi King. And now, I am going out again for pool.

For me, celebrations always related directly perpendicular to the laughter. So to start the post of the week, I would like to share some jokes.

Ever wonder why girls always fall in love with poets? At a point, I think most of them will agree with me, which is because of their sweet words. As a girl myself, I admit that I do like sweet words and promises. ~It makes my heart melt~ :P

It is the 5^th week of the trimester. It’s the end of the week. Still feeling like haven’t learn much for our subjects yet. This trimester, we are having 14 weeks of studies and 2 weeks for final exam. Midterms are around the corner. I am going to face my first midterm on 2^nd of August. It is a very hard subject for me because it required a very strong basic in mathematics. The mathematics I meant here is not basic mathematics, it is engineering mathematics! Nothing else I can do but to start working my ass off from now on! Target for the trimester is GPA 4.0. A very high target for me. Or should I say it, far beyond my own capability. I still need to try to do my best. Because I am always wonder, how it will be if I can really concentrate and work hard in my life. I just wanted to know where is my limit. Wish me all the best. I just need someone to be here, to tell me that I can do it and to remind me when I lose my focus. J
